Barack Obama is…
… finally making sense to me. This guy is an outsider, he does not belong to the large waist club that the American Senate is where dirty card table jokes carry political weight. This guy is a loner and a thinker and for once does not stumble from his chosen path of self-restraint against all mud being thrown at him.
The third debate was a great performance showing how he can laugh at things such as the Ayers controversy and deliver a blow to make it not stick – he is one cool guy.
I think I am in the blue column now, not because of his tax plans where I will probably end up paying more in the short run, but because at this juncture of economy now, this guy might probably feel a hint of guilt and try to listen to those European guys and reach out earlier than like McCain or Bush who hold onto everything American before the wold goes up in smoke.
What do u think?

I wish I had a vote.

Like Biden said about Obama back when he was in contention for the ticket too…”thats a story book, man!!”
Me in the blue column too. If for nothing, atleast for the number of Nobel Laureates that support him. =P
The third debate performance was very cool indeed. Very presidential, as they say.

I cannot somehow convince myself of the greatness that is this man. It misses me completely. He comes across a good guy, and such people should be given a chance. Yes, good. But to make someone Superman before he s actually done ‘anything’ is just plain dumb. And I do not understand all the non-citizens who get all pro-D about an election you cant even vote on. What?

AG: I don’t vote either – but it does matter to me as for whatever time i am here, this will impact me.
ADR: Amen!
Adarsh: Greatness comes later, it’s like trying a product. Big Oil still runs the world, will run it for a while to come, so when someone is trying to do something through that iron Grip, I guess its worthwhile to support him.
Who said I was a Pro-D all through. I believe in leaders and democrats have always been followers. This guy will toe the same big oil-big business line for sure, maybe with a little difference from the rest.
BTW, we have a vote – fake but I am voting in some form :d

I hope I will get to vote when I get back home sometime. But somehow, the word coalition just doesn’t interest me. Imagine not knowing who will lead (albet, Dr.Singh is a good one) the country, until after the election.
Anyway, US presidential campaign has impressed me. Not just people here, but nations care. To make the world take notice of you for all the right reasons, is something Obama has accomplished quite well. His steadfastness in the choices he’s made so far (VP pick, economy), will make me give him more than a benefit of doubt!

As some reporter during Obama’s German leg said – let the whole world vote…
